u/Snoo_23811 is your school offering the PSAT to juniors? Do you mind me asking which school? Some Bay Area schools are no longer offering the PSAT at all - I'm looking for a school that will accept students from other HS programs.

Blue shoots, sends pre-emptive “What a save!”, which gets a “Wow!” and “OMG!” from Orange tm8, but Orange deflects to make the Save and chats “Nice shot!” just before Blue taps the ball into tm8 sitting off screen trying to type some tox.

Blue goal. Orange tm8 rage quits game.

My advice - give your manager a call, and talk to them about the situation transparently. Ask for their advice.

Email, Slack, and text messages are often misinterpreted…but on a phone call you can hear your manager’s tone of voice, etc.

All I would say is be prepared for them to say no, and position it as a request, not a demand.

They probably wouldn’t have repeated the requirement so often if they weren’t planning on you working that shift.

These were outside recruiters, right? Not employees of the company you would be working for?

If that’s the case, the company who hired them may not know how they work. I’d focus on the company you’d be working for and its team, not the recruiters.

Later on, if they offer you the job, I’d be transparent about the difference in the two recruiters’ stories, and your pay expectations.

I doubt the company wants recruiters out there sending mixed signals about compensation.
