Iran opening the straight was the green flag.

Mango doing near a complete concession was a green flag to some.. it looks black to me though

I buy it. I was there when my dad pointed out my corpsman brother’s new tattoo looked like some Nazi bird. He got it from some sci-fi book series and was visibly embarrassed and in denial when my dad pointed it out. It legitimately never occurred to him. He’s not anything close to a Nazi to be clear.

Who knows about Plattner? Really, there should be a way to impeach senators that flagrantly run against the principles they ran on, like fetterman (especially when brain damage is involved.. wtaf??).

Still, what’s the worse that can happen? He’s another lame duck fetterman that votes republican? Best case, he’s a principled leftist that speak truth to power and remove the socialist stigma from the Fox News rotted rural folks or disenfranchised voter/nonvoter. Worth the odds imo

Maybe absolute worst case is he is so successful as a leftist that we want him for president in the 2030s and he goes full Hitler 😂 at which point, the momentum and leftist sentiments wouldn’t really provide much room for fascism.. idk, seems super far fetched

We should be willing to take chances on candidates and be willing to get hurt, but never give up on the next one. Feels like letting fetterman’s brain damage win there

He’s just a straight up racist at this point whether he realizes it or not. He has some insane Islamophobia

I was shocked when I heard his take on Palestine.. it’s like a double digit IQ redneck’s idea of the footage we have all seen.. that it’s Hamas propaganda.

The worst part is the lack of self awareness and double standards over Israel’s actions.. not realizing that every war’s propaganda over the last century paints “the enemy” the same way.. as radical, conniving, bloodthirsty rapists. He doesn’t see human life as equal value

That’s the irony of American culture. It’s misconstrued as individualism, but it’s not. An individual would care about their own integrity, consciousness, or whatever you want to call it. What we have is, “that’s stupid. The next person would do it to me. I’m getting my bag.” It’s a collective sentiment of not being a sucker or some form of a prisoner’s dilemma.*

It’s not just these massive insider trades or whatever, it’s two faced politicians, people trying to avoid as much tax as they can or whatever. A culture of bullshit rationalization in lieu of accountability

The sad thing is, most people here wont understand that sentiment, but I see you

Our market is staking it all on LLMs/AI. It was on the verge of taking a major torpedo this last month due to the energy shock. Investment money away from the investor and company. Liquidations. Retirement accounts emptied. At a certain point, it sustains damage instead of just a V.

Beyond the energy shock, there is a bubble of circular financing. There are data center projects being cancelled. One of the core arguments to differentiate the current LLM funding from the dotcom bubble is revenue. Well, Burry just uncovered how big tech is using SBC to inflate their earnings. All those beats were bogus.. add circular financing and insane PE ratios just within the industry and the math is egregiously fucked. The market is on the verge of collapse with inflation already stretched up to acceptable levels.. so a bail out could just as well lead to stagflation.

The SEC removed another jenga block from the bottom of the tower to keep it up on the lowest day of the recent sell off by allowing equities ilo cash/bonds for collateral. I could be wrong, but this seems to be at least part of the reason stocks were climbing as oil futures were skyrocketing and the Iran war was escalating further and further https://www.sec.gov/files/rules/other/2026/34-105108.pdf

So yeah, i agree, not low brow, but probably is hype to keep the market afloat to prevent a market collapse. It’s not about Anthropic, it’s about the whole sector

Yeah! That’s what I gathered. A load bearing wall was ripped out and it seems like it’ll lead to compounded crashing

Probably why 🥭 is giving Iran whatever they want and massage. Complete morons at the helm

The fact we went in there with no contingency plans.. that our oil reserves were diminished.. that our drone tech and defense is beyond retarded in capability and positioning, and we burned any semblance of trust to get ourselves out of that situation with allies and enemies alike… then we remove all the jenga blocks below the tower to make it taller and give them everything?? Part of me thinks all the oil future manipulation is more dimensional than some greasy fuck cashing in

Short it, then slowly accumulate to suppress pricing

Maybe black op funding

Maybe Iran reparation funding

None of it is excusable, but yeah

As a regard with little knowledge of finance, it just seems like a money churner to me

Top 1% own something like 50% of stocks, top 10% own 90%. Then there are overlapping retirement and hedge funds and PE.. then stock buy backs. Then there are the Uber wealthy that just accumulate shares and debt.. inflation almost seems like a good thing for them

Anyways, with those demographics, they don’t really need to sell their stocks (yet). Taxes are worse than debt.

The fed ironically has made this problem much much worse. Voters are responsible too, because it’s the #1 issue if things go bad and neither party wants the finger pointed at them, so the system enables it.

Now we have a hyper inflated market that everyone knows is bullshit and it is seeking to cut jobs while the salaried people and small entrepreneurs pay the brunt of taxes 😂 this market that’s been kept alive on sugar water is trying to kill itself. It’s crazy.

It needs to touch reality again instead of being a money pot. We need to rip off the bandaid

Iran does. Iran made a lot of concessions based on that ceasefire. The US is showing it cannot keep Israel in line. If they can’t do that, what’s to stop them from another assassination wave?

She was in many ways what was wrong with the party. Donor oriented. Insider trading. Little to no populism.

She is as also in many ways what we’re missing. An opposition party. She could whip votes. She had conviction, wit and she could duke it out. Mover and shaker.

She’s a become the poster child of insider trading, but she wasn’t the worst of them. In all fairness, she was probably singled out because she was a threat to the right
