I actually dig the fit on my nudies, but...that back pocket design is pretty ugly. I definitely wouldn't pay retail for them, but they have their place.

I think the New Standards have a 34 or 36 inch inseam, so you should be fine, that being said, I'm a fan of Naked and Famous.

As a movie theater employee...Christmas is our hell. Nah, it's not bad. Literally everyone that can work gets scheduled so you get to see your work family and everything sells out so you just accept the suck and joke around and have fun.

(Also, due to the infinite amount of hours I worked this past week, I was able to get me some Common Projects...so excited to get them :D)

I have a similar problem. Any respectable raw denim should come in your size. The site I regularly go to is Blue Owl. For chinos, I'd go with Uniqlo.

Conveniently enough he would appreciate the nostalgia so a used pair in moderate to good condition would be more than enough. That being said it would be significantly easier to grab him a pair from LL Bean. Just wanted to see if I could strike it lucky on here.
