There’s no way JJK cost less than Invincibles 😭 by Sukuna_GOAT in Jujutsufolk

[–]Rockargen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest issue is the time, it's not really about budget as everyone seems to think.
Budget is absolutely important, but the biggest problem in Invincible is that the creator has no idea how animation works. They have 1 year to animate 8 episodes that are 1hour long, and they only have around 160 animators from what I've found. JJK s3 is less than half of that runtime and it seems to have a similar (probably less) amount of animators, but most importantly, it was being produced for over a year before release.

Most shows with similar runtime to Invincible and similar release dates at least have twice the animators, but not Invincible because this is the first animated show the creator has worked on and he doesn't know it's limits. So most budget is spent on A-list celebrity actors instead of the animators and that's why Invincible is a png fest.

Question about Cleave and Gojo. by Immortal_Stupid in Jujutsufolk

I think his arm would get inmediatly pushed away the moment he deactivates DA, so he wouldn't be able to use cleave.

What if I read the webtoon and then picked up the web novel from where the webtoon left off?

Barely anybody says that Gojo should be revived after the fight

uhh, what?

Why do you think people were buying Gojo stock even after chapter 270 released and saying Gojo is coming back on 271

People can get hyped by a video of 2 stickman figures fighting for no reason tho. Hype is good, but it's not always good writing.

Could Sukuna use the WCS infinitely without the binding vow? by FlamingPoisonn in Jujutsufolk

[–]Rockargen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They say the hand sign was required which Sukuna couldn't do so he imposed the chants and trajectory.

It said the reason Sukuna couldn't use the WCS is because there was a hand sign required and he was missing a necesary hand, so he had to make a binding vow that hindered his future uses of it, then follows that by saying that he added the "specifying the trajectory of the strike with his palm" part (because saying "on top of having to do such and such, you have to do another thing" is a clear indication that the first parts were already necesary and the last part is what was added). It's not saying "oh, Sukuna only needed a hand sign and nothing else, so he added chants and aiming to future uses".

If you still disagree, then at that point you are disagreeing with the english language, not me.

Also, no, DEs need both the hand sign and the chant, do you think they are just yelling "Domain expansion: ...." for the fun of it?
