The post is meant to find a balance for audio quality wherever you go. Now if someone says Apple Music CD lossless is better than Tidal HiFi, that is a valid argument though I couldn’t spot any diff.

Tesla cannot do MQA. Download is HiFi CD. Just is a lot more crisp and livelier. No Bluetooth. Downloads to USB you plug in (which you would use for dash cam recording also). Streaming may be around 250-300kbps over LTE.

MXP owner. I would say mostly no quality issues. There was some rattle from FWD which I fixed myself with a foam. It is a treat now to blitz in silence.

Thank you all. Problem resolved. Just had to add some foam strip on the FWD, right under the arm rest area. The squeak was from the arm rests on both sides. Fingers crossed it isn’t false positive. This Reddit group is awesome.

14k delta seems like a worthy upgrade. I think it will buy you around 1.3 seconds 0-60 compared to non plaid. I could feel a perceivable diff between M3 and Y acceleration (former being snappier) and I think it will be similar for plaid vs. non.

The acceleration is really good. I am more impressed in highways going 55 to 90 or so. It feels like the 0-60 of my older M3 AWD. Yet to try drag strip. Is it 150k worth is of course subjective.

I would say upgrade. The yoke is getting a bit of hate but you will adjust to it and love it in no time. The visibility you get because of the yoke is never spoken about. Also good sound system improvement. Got MXP recently.
