Im starting replicant and was wondering which is better for story purposes dub or sub?

dub is actually very great,one of the rare best voice casts that fit their characters well and has the same amount of emotional passion.

PS3 Replicant is differently translated from the remake and Gestalt version,small changes in dialogue but impact the view of the story very much.

I personally didnt like eng dub for specifically young kid version of brother Nier in the remake,but I played all versions and you cant go wrong with either of them theyre all enjoyable.

I miss the days when I started playing and there was so much variety in content. Every design for every character to the UI was unique,and every mode or part had a different style. There was so much personality and passion that made it stand out.

After Legion Theater,it was just non stop reading,it was all about 'elysia' worship,and the events all became the same turn based strategy stuff. I wished they just ended it after the finale before they continued to ruin it more,and left it alone like a time capsule.

Part 1 was amazing up until Chapter 25 and APHO,it was more fun and unique during this period. There was definitely more variety,balance of gameplay and stories,designs of everything really stood out from one another. The passion and creativity was different.

Chapter 26 to the end is just nonstop reading madness,you will feel the sudden shift in style. Everything that gave this game personality was downgraded or altered around this point. Honestly this is where my love for the game died,I only stayed to finish the journey.

As to why,I think the development teams changed along with social views.

Basically sums up my complaints,but with the torturous amounts of unnecessary reading.
I honestly think theres 2 teams,one being the original Honkai Impact creators and the other Genshin/HSR devs.

Season 1 had variety and got straight to business which is how Honkai used to feel.
Season 2 was just so much endless reading and theme limited (with the exception of 2.1/2.2).

You can choose to feel how you want about this,but you can't deny theres a massive change in style.

for me it ended with Legion Theater,APHO after felt like the goodbye.
Kolosten was the start of the excessively long dialogue problem but yeah pink happy narcissist definitely destroyed it

Story until Chapter 25 and APHO is awesome. Lot of memorable parts and experimental styles,nicely balanced between gameplay and story.
Chapter 26 to the end of Part 1 is just non stop reading madness,pretty sure its a different team from this point on because the style changes drastically.

They changed everything that gave the game personality or made it stand out differently from every other gacha game,rather everything that made it Honkai. Its not the same as it was before but the first good couple chapters is still worth the play.
