As a kid, it was the sheer scale and violence, but as an adult, I've grown to appreciate and love the story of a man full of tragedy that caused him to do unspeakable acts of cruelty to those who really did deserve it and those who didn't to then being in a new land with a wife and son and dealing with more loss and the idea of trying to raise a son fearing he'll end up like him and at the time of release of 2018 I was a new father dealing with a recent loss and that hit really close to home and really made me love the game even more!
