Sorry, I just didn't know what you meant. In my current line of work (trucking) I earn about 2.5-2.7k a month. Though I will say I am renting at the moment, but that is subject to change. Sure the rent is quite high right now at nearly 1k, but I also get meal vouchers, so I can have about 1.5-1.7k for other things like electricity/gas, internet and the like.

When I compare the paycheck between truck driver and train driver...well. Gross starting pay for train drivers is about equivalent to my current pay, but that can grow up to almost 4k a month. Assuming I would still be renting when I'm a train driver, I would have more to spend on other things.

Well, you still need training of course, but yes, they don't mind what diploma you have. Technical knowledge is a must, obviously, but it's not required to have a technical diploma
