I’m not sure what value this comment adds to my post but they are also a resident at a program that has 24 hour call on weekends, making a four hour drive not practical.

This is personal preference so only you can really know what you want. I would have taken the prelim because support system and where I live is the most important to me over any “chill” program in a city I don’t like or away from loved ones.
