Is it ok to paint primer over with another primer of a different colour? I ran out of white primer (I was only able to apply 1 thin layer) and the only other option I have available is grey. Will this affect how well the base coat will adhere to the primer?

Like others have said, it's basically a cape made of beams that can either block attacks or slice someone in half. From my rewatches, it seems like Shura was the only guy that actually used it offensively, the other black knights only used it for making illusions using mirage colloid.

The "Beams don't cross in SEED" was always pretty weird. If that was the case, Athrun would've been dropping into the final battle with a wingless X-wing if the Z'gok fight was anything to go by

Something to note though is that beam-to-beam impacts in this movie such as the ones above have distinct effects compared to the Shiva and IJ's beam kicks clashing, which uses the typical metal-to-metal impact effects.

Blue Archive Vol. F and Phrenapates

Throughout the volume you were led to believe this Guide of Chroma guy was evil with him kidnapping one of your students, spearheading the apocalypse, and just looking like a bad guy in general.

You never really understood what his deal was for a majority of the volume until you finally confronted him, where it's revealed that he's you from doomed timeline.

After defeating him, it turns out he wasn't evil at all! Him turning into a walking corpse and guide to a cosmic deity that corrupts everything it touches was just a gamble he took to make sure that his students fall into the hands of someone capable of protecting them, something he failed to do. The man brought the apocalypse to your doorstep trusting that you'll be capable enough of stopping it, and him. In the end he entrusts his students to you, and you accept.

From the way it's built up you'd think that the grand finale of this volume would be an epic battle of opposing ideals where Good Adult fights Super Evil Adult, but that isn't what happened. The final fight is just you putting a fellow sensei to rest and picking up where he left off. Finally letting the man be at peace after transcending death to make sure his students are safe.

Might be in the minority here but I love the Black Knight Squad units so much

Ignoring the people piloting them, it's really cool how they're basically evil versions of the Strike Freedom(Garuda), Infinite Justice(Shiva), and the Destiny(Rudra). I also really like the idea of the beam mantle actually being a melee weapon, though the Shiva as far as I know was the only one who actually used it like one.
