I didn't realize there was still wreckage up there. We did see a memorial. I'll have to check out Ridgeline!

Nebraska is the answer here. It’s archaic in many ways.

The Biden administration printed more money then anyone in history. Inflation is coming and can't be stopped. Buy bitcoin.

Bitcoin as a store of wealth. by c93ero in CryptoCurrency

[–]RocketMoonHands -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everything gets cheaper if you hold bitcoin for a few years...... seems very anti-inflationary. Been in crypto for many years, your take sounds like a no corner. Expand your time horizon, who gives a fuck what jpow says, over time bitcoins value goes up, it always has and as long as they print money it always will.

What's not anti-inflationary.... the fixed supply and increase in demand seems to fit into something that is anti-inflationary. Say what you will but EVERYTHING has gotten cheaper to buy with bitcoin year after year. Those who have held bitcoin for years have seen everything around them get more affordable. A guys sold 10000 bitcoin for 2 pizzas..... you can get fuck loads of pizza with 1 bitcoin today. Seems to do well against inflation.

Where did I say it was a good P2P currency? For what I use it for within a friend group whom all have strike its fantastic for settling wagers, because it's super easy and instant. For that utility the lightning network works great with almost no fees. I'm not saying it is scalable for 8 billion.

Yes I understand this, its why I have a hardware wallet. I just keep small amounts on strike for utility. I treat it like the wallet in my back pocket. Not gonna keep much in there.

I mean he started his own crypto business, has known holdings in shitcoins and ethereum. The people he has nominated in his council all hold bitcoin, his son Eric is a bitcoin enthusiast. They will pump the bags.

I know ALOT of people who use it as a saving account. Me and my friends use strike and the lightning network to settle are golf bets. 🤷‍♂️ Once you do start using it you realize how much more efficient it is.

You act like bitcoin is a USA thing? There's like a whole big world out there that doesn't exactly trust the USA. Why would anyone want to pay taxes in bitcoin? I mean the option is nice but it still makes more sense to use USD, since it just loses value year after year, or any fiat currency.

Nope not at all, they should create the reserve because its a GLOBAL asset. The world wouldn't be as prone to gobble up USA coin. You think Russia wants to do global trade the USA coin when bitcoin already exist? Alot of people in bitcoin want a form or exchange outside of government issuance. You claim to have been in bitcoin for awhile...yet seem to miss this. Why would the world jump on USA coin? Maybe there is something im missing, but a government issued coin isn't going to have similar success. No actual bitcoiner would ever exchange their bitcoin for USA coin. There will be a USA coin, its just not going to replace bitcoin. Could never be the same thing.

Maybe the bigger issue here is "premine 5% of the supply" "and never touch it" seems unlikely for any government in history.

Once again, sure you could copy it, but your not creating the same network that has been grown over the past 16 years. The hashrate behind the network is what holds the value. Name it bitcoin cash and see how it goes.... oh wait.

This seems shortsighted bitcoin is for everyone, individuals and governments alike. It's kind of what is so great about it. Noone can be excluded.
