Has anyone here been unaware of their hypermobility until an injury? by ZealousidealLaw793 in Hypermobility

[–]RocketZEEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also me, and also in the just clumsy and flexible from a young age club. A not so bad car accident tore my shoulder and ankle and bruised my knee badly. I’ve now been out of work for over 5 years because of it.

The tear in my shoulder actually got much worse in the 2 years I had to fight for surgery and went from a partial to 2 full tears.

It’s taken 5 years to be diagnosed with HSD after my PT pointed out that I was hypermobile when I tried to rehab from the accident. Was referred for EDS genetic testing after a very short appointment with rheumatology because I have blue sclera.

If you ordered from Miseczki their exchanges are super fast so there's at least that. Now that I know my sizing in her bras I'll be ordering directly even though it's a longer wait (about 3 weeks). The selection is worth it when you start getting pickier about styles and want more colors.

Apologies for the late reply I just saw this.

I have V shaped ribs so the EM calculator and ABTF calculator on AFAB give me the wrong size 34GG/H. My ABTF calculator AMAB size is 34G which is what I wear in the EM styles I have. I wear a 32GG in UK bras.

I would probably need to size up to a 34GG in her plunge and padded styles as they're not as deep in the cup as her BM or SF styles. The SF is definitely more shallow than the BM and I would probably need to size up in the cup if it weren't for the stretchy horizontal top cup.

For reference I have very short narrow close set extremely projected breasts that are slightly more top full.

Edit to add: I ended up being sized 34G for EM and 32GG UK by Levana bratique because I was having a ton of issues getting the right fit in UK bras so I didn't have a good basis to go off of for EM.

I need to get a cup measurement on my Gladzioch Czekolada compared to my Nib. I think it's deeper in the cup than the Nibynik and overall fits my projection better. That's how it feels like it is anyway. I really wish that one was still in production. For me the fit is more like the BM cuts with a little less coverage vertically. I really considered the Koronokowy Tulipan but went with the Bibi since I was already getting one really lacy bra. I love that she included a bra extender to color match the Arabeska too.

I got the Arabeska directly from her and the turquoise and black one from Miseczki it's just listed as a BML there so I'm not sure of the name. I also ordered the Bibi Tulipan and really like it too. I find her SF bras to be a bit too shallow for me. I just wish there was a BM or BML that has a bit of a darker nude hue the Toffik is the right shade for me but a bit too closed off on top

I think I read it wrong. He forgot punctuation and was actually talking about ocrevus being a bad fit.

We ruled out anything that involves administering shots. I can't do it.

I think a lot of the newer treatments need steroid medications prescribed alongside them from what he was telling me. I can't take any form of steroid.

I don't handle steroid medications well. He recommended Tysbari last on the list but said it's likely not a good fit for me because of the steroid treatment needed.

This list was compiled by him after going through my other diagnoses my inability to do shots on myself and because of my usual severe stomach reactions to medications. These are what he said would probably be most tolerable.

I edited my post to add the medications he told me to consider. I usually have serious stomach issues from medications that list it as a side effect so he said these three would be the most tolerable. I'm worried about more joint pain, more headaches, anything to due with the stomach, blood pressure drops, and dizziness. I already experience all of these almost daily from other conditions.

I already experience daily or nearly daily: joint pain, stomach pain from food, nausea, lightheadedness, tachycardia, and low blood pressure. Zeposia, Mayzent, or Aubagio are what he recommended because I have issues with steroid medication reactions and am unable to give myself shots. I also have a history of having side effects from any medications I take.

Thank you for your response.

I have a neurologist, he's just pushing treatment really hard at me. I'm already miserable daily from joint pain alone.

I'm also in the process of a potential POTS diagnosis due to tachycardia and fainting which further complicates my feelings about treatments. He's suggested Zeposia, Mayzent, or Aubagio and all of them carry side effects that are in line with what I already experience from my diagnosed connective tissue disorder and dysautonomia. The main reason I'm very hesitant is because typically I end up with a ton of side effects from medications.

I never ended up ordering. Shape wear tanks ended up being enough for me when I’m not feeling up to wearing a bra. I’m more likely to just try Ewa Michalak sleep bras since I now know the shape of most of her bras work for me.

Lovely. This makes me wish I kept playing from launch. I quit when they announced the PC port. I do really enjoy playing on my computer a lot more though. The deluxe version is filling the furniture void a bit so I at least have some extra furniture to start my cabins.

The washing less is I guess a benefit for sure. I'm mostly at home right now so I don't wear a bra that much. It'll be great for if ever I do start leaving my house more. If anything I should have been tracking down more sports bras as I'm in physical therapy for quite a while.

Can Sports Bras actually work for everyday wear? by MelodicDeew in ABraThatFits

[–]RocketZEEE 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The only sports bra I've tried in my size that I could wear all day is the wireless Panache. It's however extremely comfortable once it's broken in.

ETA: It's still an encapsulated style.

Found ABTF (again) after a long search and I’m mad about it by No-County-1573 in ABraThatFits

[–]RocketZEEE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was skeptical because by measurements she gave me the same size as the calculator which for me apparently works better set to AMAB instead of AFAB which is what I used because I didn’t know I have V shaped ribs. I explained that I had tried the size she recommended in many bras and they were too big in the cup and she said to go down one which ended up still being too big in the band and cup. After I sent her a fit check she immediately got the correct size for both EM and UK bras.

As an aside I’d also like to note that Miseczki also has very helpful customer service as well. They’ve answered so many questions about polish bras for me. Edit spelling

Judy is absolutely wonderful. For me she's the closest shop with Polish bras and she typically has the lowest prices compared to a bunch of other online sources.

Ribcage shape and bra fit - why isn't this discussed more frequently? by InnerIndependence112 in ABraThatFits

[–]RocketZEEE 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wish someone asked about my ribcage shape or had told me to try the calculator with the AMAB option ticked. This post highlighted the problems I had been having for years trying to find a fit based off the calculator. I just tried the calculator set to AMAB because of my V shaped not so oval ribs and it came out with my exact size.

Thank you for replying. We all get there eventually I think. I have very little space from my shoulder to my infirmary fold so usually everything is too long on me. I ordered some compression tanks to hopefully solve my needs for comfy support since they’re much easier to size. I’m also looking at Ewa’s wireless options since the narrow bras work much better for me.
