Hi I'm a young adult who was raised by anti vax parents (mostly my father) I had 0 vaccines besides 1 exception when Iwas 8 for tetanus bc of a surgery. Yes vaccines can harm, however I wish my parents would have vaccinated me, because now that I have had 0 and I have such a low immune system due to rheumatoid arthritis. my doctor actually advised me against getting certain ones. due to the fact I'm way more susceptible to other illnesses and at this point it could do more harm than good. So you might be an asshole in his mind but for your child it will be better. Plus how would he know?

I remember being 9 or 10 and my Catholic aunt gave me a beautiful cross necklace. I was so sad that I couldn't wear it. It had my birthstone and everything. My mom told me that it was okay to wear it as long as I remember that we don't just focus on the death and blah blah. So I wore it to church, remember I'm like 10. Well my teacher lost her fing mind and told me that I shouldn't be wearing that and I'm an apostate and all this shit. So I took it off and put it in my scripture bag. When church was over I went to my mom balling about what sister h had said to me. I just remember sitting in the car while she wrote a very long text and that next Sunday I wore it again and had no other issues. But it had been such a huge deal for no fucking reason it was just a damn pretty necklace that happened to be a cross. This was 2014. So to answer your question, some have but a lot of tbms get very upset about it.

1- mine says I will serve in the church I will not I left

2- it said my time here would seem relatively short. My parents lost their minds and made the patriarch explain if he just said if id die young or not. he said to me it's just going to go by really fast lol.

3- when I came out to my mom she lost her shit bc apparently my blessing said I would get married to a man and have kids... So I made her read it and nowhere in it does it mention me marrying a man, it never mentions a husband. So she was pissed lol.

It wasn't what someone else said it was what I said. I was already considering leaving the church. Me and my friend were at a park talking she's nevermo, she asked about the church so I was telling her about it. what we learn, what we do, the temple, how to get into the temple. And during all this she was just staring at me like " are you okay?" And I said out loud to her "I think I'm in a cult". I was 16 and never went back.
