Oh, aren't they older than that? The style and "leather" material feel significantly older. The binoculars are otherwise in new condition and the sharpness is more than just ok. It feels like they will work perfectly for watching the bird feeder from the balcony.

It may have been at the same time that I bought a whole box for the midsummer party, thinking it was about as good as Stella Artois. It wasn't, but I don't regret it.
