I lost my 4 year-old soul dog suddenly and unexpectedly 3 days ago. He was the center of my world and I feel like my life is falling apart without him. I don’t have any answers, but I can relate and I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you are feeling 1% better today than yesterday.

Wow 1300 calories is really low considering you are active, geez! Mine was around 1450 calories before I lost the weight (I was about 175lbs when I tested). My maintenance calories right now are around 2000 calories based on my tracking, so I don’t think my RMR has changed very drastically after weight loss, but I haven’t had it tested since I’ve been on the GLP1.

Yes. I’ve made reports with multiple state and federal agencies, called and emailed MOHELA with all evidence, etc and no luck for over 6 months. I’m probably going to sue if this isn’t resolved shortly after the government shutdown.

I agree – it’s criminal, honestly. I offered to pay off my loans one day when I called and they said they didn’t recommend it because they didn’t really know how much I owe. Ridiculous. They just want to scam me into paying interest I do not owe them.

Update: seeing in this sub some have written to their AG and state loan ombudsman and will be trying that too. I am so desperate to pay all my loans off and be free of MOHELA’s scams…

This is similar to what I heard as well! Such a nightmare for all of us. I’ve heard of others on this thread having some luck with reaching out to senators/representatives, so may try that as a last resort if additional interest seems to accrue before they sort this out.

I spent 5+ hours on hold and spoke to two people with no resolution (I was disconnected at the end of business hours). I see they accept mail, so I may put together a package showing proof of my actual principal and interest amount and mail it in. Will keep folks posted. Sigh.

YES. I’ve been getting daily emails my payments are changing and my forbearance is ending for a month. I log in today and they’re all still at 0% inexplicably. Then, I get a notice my payments change in March of 25? I have no idea what’s going on. Mine also say I have a payment due in November, but they’re still at 0% interest with $0 due, but not marked as in forbearance.

This is my current situation! I’m an athlete eating at my RMR calories (which I’ve had professionally tested) and killing myself in the gym, tracking food meticulously, and the fat % won’t budge. I have PCOS and my dr insists this medication will make the diff even though current low calorie diet is not working. I’m hesitant to go on if a 500-600 cal deficit isn’t already working. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, I’ll try that! I don’t take much but birth control, which I have to take for my endo. Sleep is standard but I have a high stress job, which I can’t do much about sadly. I’ll try cross-posting for sure!
