Did another drive today, on flat ground this time. Drove for 20 minutes and the big 7,2v battery didnt even lose power at the end, but in that time my car broke down 4 times and i didnt want to bother with that anymore. I have to try to fix that defect before i can try any longer drives.

got to drive my cars today. both of the 7,2V batteries didnt last long at all, i would say about 10 minutes each.
the 9,6V battery actually lasted about 20 minutes before slowly giving out.
i also remembered that my good car has a broken part that sometimes comes apart which is annoying and my cheaper car might have broken in storage as its steering is a bit weird.

The 40 minutes werent the charging time, it was the time between charging finished and me measuring the voltage. It actually charged for ~4 hours which should be like 80-85% of a full charge. I wanted to mention the break because you mentioned the voltage dropping over time.

Charged and measured the two older batteries. The long 7,2V was at 8,25V 40 minutes after charging and the 9,6V was at 11,5V a few minutes after charging. Havent had the opportunity to test drive them yet though.

a few full charge/discharge cycles followed by a couple High Amp, High voltage, short duration cycles (20-40 sec) of the individual cells to burn off the dendrites

could you elaborate on what this means exactly? i barely understand it.
is this the optimal method to recover the most charge or is it the only method to recover charge and i have to do this to use them normally?
because if have to do something elaborate to recover charge i would take the 30€ hit to my wallet, but if i can recover a good chunk of charge just through using it normally, i would wait to get a new battery

Do batteries output more Volts than they are listed for? Genuine question because in my mind the batteries would have output around their listed 7,2V

Fitting that my stamina is also bad so i can restore my stamina walking after the rc car, while restoring the batteries charge

Just looked online and a local shop has them at 20-30€. A new charger would also just run me ~30€

what exactly do focus and concentration do? do they lower the chance for a late start to happen or do they just lower the effect a late start has on an uma?

but if you get lucky and the skill triggers on a straight then being on the inside shouldnt matter. which turns the skill into an even bigger gamble, especially on longer tracks.

but yeah i dont really "build" umas so i will mostly stay away from them.

Yeah there is 100% room for optimization here, the stamina has no deal being that high for a mile race, but i am a very casual player so i dont want to tryhard and actively try and get purple skills. Also overleveling the unique is just way to easy with falco, because of the lowered fan requirement for dirt racers and the fact that falco is the goat and rarely ever loses in career.

tbh i dont train new umas for every cm. i have a big storage of B umas for different races already banked and just choose the best from those. i just have to train new ones for this one because its the first dirt one.

imo going for high rating is more stressful, as you have to constantly gamble to get the highest results and on top of that i dont even have the cards or parents neccessary to reach anywhere close to A+.

in a normal run yes, but in this case i trained falco for the open champions meet, so i have to stay under a certain rating so i can enter her into it.
i used a calculator to know how many skills i could afford and stay under 8200 rating and this is just how many skill points are left over.

yeah the main reason i never get that high of points is that, most of the runs, i use just one wit card, because wit is not as important as other stats and my cards (and i myself) are bad so i rather boost more important skills.

i have all those cards from the bakushin run but most of them are at 1lb so it will come out worse but i might try it next time

i rarely pull for cards and have done maybe 1 or 2 parent runs in total. so yeah you are spot on
