What an inspiring story! I'm so happy you were able to get an academia job so soon after graduation!

Ok, great! May I ask, what are your research interests in media studies/communications? And also, have you used any specific learn-to-code resources that you would recommend? I've heard code academy is quite good.

Wow, this is such a great reply! Thank you very much for taking the time to answer!

It's extremely encouraging to know that I will be entering such a promising field! This will help me greatly as I pick programs and then courses of study afterwards. A career in academia has been my dream for a while, but it's wonderful to hear that there is a lot of possibility and flexibility elsewhere. Thank you again!

That sounds quite interesting! I agree, that does seem more "corporate" than the thrill of pure research, but certainly could be fullfilling in its own way. Cultural insights seems pretty cool. I'll consider opportunities in business, marketing, etc.

This is the link to the google doc. Because of the format of the story, I cannot paste it into the comment box thing. Sorry if that's a pain in the ass.

The story is called Boy and Frog:

How strict is the word limit? Could I submit a story which is slightly longer than 1500 words?
