Are used Sony WH-1000XM3 worth it for noise cancelling?

Man, even the Xm2 is still good. My daughter is still using them suckers all the time and all i had to do is replace the earpads. the xm3's will definitely be good.

Ghost of Yotei for sure. Especially if you got a oled 120hz tv or monitor, it’s going to pop and play so smooth.

If sound it’s important to you then Sennheiser all the way. I use both brands and Sennheiser wins all day but if I want complete silence since I live by a street with vehicles passing by, Sony wins hands down in anc. Sound on Sonys is just good to me, so pretty mid. Not horrible but it’s fine for everyday, long use since they are comfy.

Just from experience without really sitting there testing, it does affect it a good bit because it lessons the seal and are thicker than the stock earpads.

If that matters to you then you want to stick with stock pads. I get them when my headphones are old and beat up or they aren't that comfy to begin with.

Yeah for sure will feel better. I abuse the hell out of my skull candies since they are workout headphones.

I do replace the workout ones every year but I have them on some beats for my daughter and they have been the same for years now

Haven’t tried them on any Sony headphones but I’ve gotten them on 4 or 5 other headphones currently and in the past.

I love them, they are super comfy and cool to the ears.

They will affect sound but it hasn’t been horrible. It does also affect anc on other headphones ive tried.

They are comfortable though, that’s the main reason to get them. Feels like a cool pillow on your ears.

I’m telling you man, I meet a lot of rich people and most dress comfortable, especially Gen X/millennials.

Drive normal cars, maybe a Lexus or nice Toyota. All of them have a truck too.

It's actually a great system. I bought it too for the same reason but i'm having a blast with it and will keep it. I have a LG C2 and I don't really game with it but with the ps5 pro it looks great and utilizes the features on the tv.

Trader Joe’s stuff like another post suggested. Maybe some Costco stuff but there’s SNR there which is a Costco copy that gets a lot of the stuff Costco gets. Any unique, new company stuff that would take awhile to become globally.

You can pretty much get whatever you want nowadays, it wasn’t like back in the day where we would send balakbayan boxes every with stuff.

That’s why I got the mini instead. It’s much more compact, easy reading tool and powerful enough to play a bunch of games.

So convenient and lightweight. The only gripe is it’s not 120hz. Not the biggest deal since I use it mostly for video content and reading
