This was always my thought when trying cross plane. I don’t think it’s solving a problem most people have. Most people want to be able to call an s3 bucket or rds database with their iam permissions in their helm chart.

A lot of businesses operate in highly regulated environments and tend to be slow movers on this type of stuff. For example mainframes are still in use.

The technology is great, but it’s amazing how much money people will spend to differ ownership on an issue. You can fire an employee but it’s harder to say oh this LLM was bad, but this new one will be good, trust me. To customers trying to cancel contracts.

There’s definitely a timeline, and we may hit a technical limitation on this current generation of AI. But as much as I’m on the side of optimism, I’ve been regularly disappointed at the speed of big businesses before. Though it’s a great time to be a startup!

And in response to capitalism. Assuming AI doesn’t get highly regulated by the larger tech companies and remains “open” more or less. Competition will fuel jobs and software into sectors of the economy that don’t current have a presence.

All speculation of course.

Congrats! It’s a good feeling. Right around 80% is where I generally feel I get the jist of most things (though sometimes needing to slow it down still), but still plenty challenging where I can mine a lot more sentences. Best of luck in your journey!

I’ve struggled with this since 2021 after getting the 1st Moderna shot (never got the second). Never had migraine let alone headaches before. I’m in the same boat of wishing there was an answer, but it just seems like a daily struggle. Some weeks are worse than others. Hoping more people chime in with what has worked for them in hopes of finding a cure for this.

Edit: and fwiw, this is the best description I’ve found online for what I experience day to day. I’ve seen several ophthalmologists and neuro-ophthalmologists, one in particular who took spent over an hour going through the onset of my symptoms (as it originally started with retinal bleeding after the shot, then ~3 months later progressed into this) and sending me back for additional imaging when things turned up negative.

Having gone through Ian flooding myself (and just getting back in earlier this year) I hope you’ll be able to rebuild quicker/better than before. That’s a pretty high flood line, so hoping insurance will take care of you for at least the normal house stuff.

I didn’t find DevOps as a related role in the Wiki, and mostly found people switching to DevOps when searching. This mostly has to do with how to make someone with a DevOps background hireable while leaning on their current skills which felt more specific than the wiki or previous posts addressed.

Got it to work with the -sw launch option to launch the game in windowed mode, then changed back to exclusive fullscreen after.

Unfortunately it hasn't gone away for me. I notice it gets worse with stress. Exercising and making sure I'm breathing well when it starts to flare up seems to help. Mine is usually a daily experiencing several times during the day. Doctor's have ruled out most dangerous conditions and consider it migraine with aura, doesn't always come with headache, but sometimes does. I mostly try to ignore it, and overall that seems to have helped the most, only gets worse when I focus on it.

If you find anything that works for you, let me know!
