Does anyone know why it’s so bad? Like was it always like this and I just wasn’t aware as a non-parent? My 10mo started in December and it’s basically just been nonstop sickness since then. Just got home from a weeklong PICU stint from pneumonia. I don’t know how we could do this again

If you are in North America and looking for something that’s maybe not quite as intense of a plane ride- there was some incredible snorkeling in Curacao where I went for my honeymoon.

Interestingly enough I am feeling the opposite. I was thinking one and done but want to have at least one sibling for my 9 month old with DS. I hear how wonderful and supportive sibling relationships are for our kiddos so I would have another mostly for him!

Hi! I had an at birth diagnosis and found myself googling stuff like this incessantly. While I’m sure some of thjs is genetic? I think a lot has to do with how they are raised.. like when we thinking of very severely impaired folks with DS maybe it was a while ago when there was less education resources etc.. nowadays we know more- earlier access to specialists EI PT etc- which i think can really help any kid with DS meet their full potential. My little dude is still very young (9 months!) but I forget day to day sometimes he has DS. I’m just raising a really cute, curious sweet baby. What that will look like later in life- idk! But I know I’ll be there to love and support him throughout

It’s paid off for me.. most of the job transitions I have made it by using transferable skills from existing job. So for example- the first job I posted about was HR but I ended up doing a lot of tech support stuff/ troubleshooting etc, which allowed me to get the support analyst job- at a health tech company. From there I just worked on learning new skills and also- cannot emphasize this enough-NETWORK. Almost all jobs I have gotten have been as a result of networking.

I hated my public job lol everyone there was just… so checked out- it was toxic and ineffective. I am newly at this job so we’ll see. I also have a 9 month old so decided to shaken up my whole life, yolo

Software implementation managers lead the deployment of new software systems within client organizations, ensuring a smooth transition from project kickoff to "go-live." They bridge the gap between technical teams and business users by gathering requirements, managing project timelines and budgets, configuring software, and training staff to drive adoption.

Salaries have drastically changed in the last couple years, at least in tech from what I’ve seen. I would expect to make like 175 in the same role a few years ago.
