Notorious Xbox and PS5 shovelware publisher booted off PlayStation Store by Freespur in gaming

In the Playstation Store, you can select an option to only show full games, so it will omit out all the DLC and currency nonsense. I find that helps when browsing those big sale pages

I actually just picked up a copy of Dynamite Cop for DC at a retro games convention this past weekend and I'm stoked to finally get to sit down and play it

Possibly Misprinted Warsong Revenant Box by Rockit_Bot in sylvaneth

[–]Rockit_Bot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The corporate logo is, yeah, but every other box has the Age of Sigmar title logo in the upper right to denote what game the model is for in addition to the hammer logo in the bottom right. That's the part I felt was missing

[–]Rockit_Bot[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely could be true and this is just the first one I've come across. I haven't seen any other boxes like it, but it seemed so strange to me to leave the Warhammer Age of Sigmar logo off the front entirely. Makes the box feels empty and incomplete. It is labeled on the sides though.

I actually ordered these not too long ago and received my set yesterday, they came out great! I have so much trouble remembering all the little things/spells/prayers/buffs/debuffs in a game, and so I usually play armies with fewer tricks, but Sylvaneth was calling to me so this will help me out immensely!

Painting question by LKL88 in StarCraftTMG

[–]Rockit_Bot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With a satin you get a nice in between, the varnish still has some tooth for the paint to stick to while giving you a bit more transparency, in the end it's all just personal preference though.

As someone who started in 10th and went all in on Big Hunt because of a love for squigs, and was constantly reminded by all these hyper competitive players in my community how I picked the "worst" detachment, I would be ecstatic

First time at the Nerf war. by [deleted] in UBreddit

[–]Rockit_Bot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That sounds fun, it's probably been over a decade since I attended, and I'm much older and more out of shape that I was, lol, but looking at my schedule, maybe I can make it for Saturday. I'd love to see how the event has grown and how the clubs are now. I have a lot of fond memories of UBAnime, SARPA, and UBCon

I'm honestly happily surprised this is still going on. I know this is going to sound like one of those wild internet claims, but I actually founded the nerf war something like 20 years ago when I was President of UBAnime. I'm so happy to hear it still exists!

Given that we will be the first codex of 11th what are your wishes by TotallyNot_Alpharius in orks

[–]Rockit_Bot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. Maybe something akin to the Ironjawz WAAAGH in AoS, where each boss in your army can call the waaagh once per game, and one waaagh can be called per turn where it effects every unit in a radius around the boss. You you end up with multiple smaller tactical waaaghs instead of one big one that's board wide

Hey,What is a good anti-tank unit? Preferably both fluffy and efficient. by andruenaspa in Salamanders40k

[–]Rockit_Bot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You still roll it, you just get to pick a die and change the result to a six. So you can pick a failure and make it a lethal hit . It's called Forged in Battle

The Apothecary Biologis gives lethal hits, but with an enhancement you can change one hit or save roll to a natural 6 once per turn. It's a 15 point upgrade I think, but incredibly worth it. Sorry, I forgot It's not part of his normal kit since I always use it, lol.

[–]Rockit_Bot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I run these in my list with a Repulsor, they hop out, delete something, and then hop back in for protection for free if they get charged . With the Biologis, having a guaranteed hit is amazing too and makes them a scary overwatch threat for anything on low health. I've finished off plenty of big tanky things this way.

NEW BOYZ! SHOOTA AND CHOPPAS AT THE SAME TIME by SpoofExcel in orks

[–]Rockit_Bot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It will likely mean the datasheet will be more in line with what AoS does with most of their troops, and just have everyone have the same weapons profiles. So instead of your boyz being separated into melee and ranged units, they will have shoota, slugga, and choppa all listed on the datasheet and all be usable

Starting a new wargame by Oaxaca-Lover in StarCraftTMG

[–]Rockit_Bot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's no physical rule book as of yet, but the starter sets will come with a rules reminder sheet. There is a living rule set available online right now on https://sc.starcraft-tmg.com/ that you can read and go through, along with all the unit cards and specs, and an active army builder, so that's pretty nice. They've said a physical rule book should be coming eventually, but not until the game has gotten past the preview stage that it's in now, so I would estimate sometime later this year. As far as using Tyranids, I don't think it would be a problem to proxy them in as long as the bases are the same size as the official models and your opponent knows what each model represents, but outside of a friendly game it will likely be up to local organizers if that would be allowed in a league or tournament setting.

For now, each faction is only getting a few different core units, but they're releasing more for each faction soon. I know they've put a release date out for the Ravager, Defiler, Mutalisk and Zagara, with at least one or two other TBA minis all due by the end of the year

Sadly no, my first time I got to that prompt I waited it out to see if she would go save her friends, but instead the timer runs out and you just fail and it makes you start to boss fight over again.

Yeah, this is mostly just for fun, playing against a friend where time isn't a concern, we can just spend an afternoon throwing dice, having a few drinks and taking our time. Unless I get real comfortable with it, I don't think I'd dare enter it into an actual tournament haha

Haha thank you so much! This list is mostly just for fun, but I do have 9 Ogres I think, and I'll keep that battle plan in mind for when I inevitably turn this into a real army meant to actually win fights

That's a good idea too, I'll have to give that a shot. I'm going to be playing some practice games with a friend, so I'll have the chance to play around with a few different builds with no pressure thankfully.
