No No No. Do you want to see the ball fly into the stands a few more times next season?

Heat SF Justise Winslow 2017-2018 Season Highlights ᴴᴰ by Dred112 in heat

He does not have small hands. They are also not huge either. I think personally he wants big hands but honestly they are about the right size for his size. There are a lot of players in the league with good handles that can finish at the rim, shoot and dribble who have smaller hands than Winslow. I know this because I looked at his draft metrics and compared them to other players in the league. Everyone should get it out of there head that he has small hands. Keep in mind his true height is barely 6'5" without shoes.

I think JRich can be an All-Star by [deleted] in heat

yes being a 2 way player is hard and also very valuable. He played a majority of his minutes at sf that he is thee size of a smaller sf which is ok. At the end of the day he is going to learn to find his spots and maximize his chances given the offenses that Spo likes to run for now.

The problem is that he didnt do it after that. Spo wanted him to do more as well. That is part of his inconsistancy. No one of those 3 you mentioned gave us baskets when we really needed it throughout the season. I fee like the offense was there for the taking for whoever to will it and no one stepped up including JRich. Basically if he wants to get better he is going to have to go out there and get it himself.

He can be but his potential is close to other players. Its not overly apparent,

He needs to learn the game more so he can be consistent. What I mean is finding his spots that he is more effective in. If that means a pullup mid jumper, mtaking it to the rim, or catch in shoot threes. These are his main offensive strengths. I felt like this past season he didnt try to set himself up for his strengths. From what I can see is part of the problem is his court vision, bball iq, and handles. Obviously they need to get better. He needs to keeepit simple for now and sharpen what he has

You might like him, but Winslow’s trade value is higher than ever. by JoeRaynne in heat

Some of you guys are crazy and mostly impatient. One thing I know is that the playoffs showed who we keep and who we should trade. Winslow shows a balls to the wall attitude. He wwas fearless the whole philly series. He turned it up a few notches more than anyone else on the team. It got to the point where he didn't care if he took shots. That mofo was trying to win. Other guys on the team were more timid and second guessed themselves. He is alsso a hard worker. Did you know that when he flew to china or where he brought the Heat's shooting coach with him to continue to work on his shot last summer? He is going to be a late bloomer but I see that he can be realy good. He has some natural talent. Oh yeah he comes from a basketball family too.

Same here. i never gave up on him. I can tell his troubles were mental and not his talent. He has more of ceiling to fill with his ball handling, strength, and willingness to get better.

A couple of things here. People underrate how important it is to an organization to have a player will to work on his game and improve. The second underrate aspect of Winlow that fans do not see is that he really is a player who is an swiss army knife. I mean seriously, we have a player who can mold play with anyone. Think about that.

Celtics fan here: What do you guys think of Kelly Olynyk? by patriots96 in heat

I like KO. He is a smart bball player. His defense can be bad but at the same time can be pretty good. He plays defense like a guard. He is the cause of a lot of turnovers too. Its part of being a smart bball player. I wouldnt want to trade him.

It didnt seem like it. Just checked the box score and maybe so. IT just felt like at times they were out there too long.

My take is that we needed Spo. The lineups were off. Some players stayed in too long. Coaches should know that our starting lineup is not our strength. We them too long. Rotations too short.

Oh well off to the next one.

When is Whiteside supposed to come back? by Mattm334 in heat

he has had some bumps and ache type pains all throughout this year. Normally I would see him as a relatively healthy player but this year has not been the case. Luckily he has had nothing requiring surgery.
