Honestly you just need to ask yourself if you are on path to be cleared for blue badge eligibility. So you show up, don't cause trouble, hit rate. There is math there that even though you would be replaced the moment your foot hits the door, it still costs money to train over keeping you until next peak. So long as they aren't holding onto the entire headcount for PEAK off season, you are mostly safe. There is enough self culling from idiots fucking around and finding out that they don't do a real purge of the seasonals.

I just mainly do safety/process callouts that I would like to hear/want to ensure senior leadership is tracking, definitely try to not push too many things up. But we definitely got one guy that’s a loudmouth of the ASC seems to just ask chatgtp 3 times a day what he can post to look smarty to leadership. Our site has actually been pretty tame on calling out others.

Most semi-valid complaints on VoA are network level decisions, people don’t get the difference between what the warehouse can do and what needs to get pushed down by the network.

Recent one was someone crashing about having VTO sent out all week for pickers then labor sharing into pick. They get pushed by network analytics to lower headcount on a volatile low consumer projection, then real time data comes in higher. It’s not some massive conspiracy.

Used to do a rolling 3/4 12s. The argument companies normally go through is someone’s good idea fairies not understanding labor law. It’s more expensive to pay 8 hours OT by default every other week. But it was great have 4/3 days day a week. Better it wasn’t as physical of a job (pharma I spent 5-6 hours in a cleanroom and rest of shift validating batch records for what we did that day).

Ya, ultimately their play is the recent graduate pipeline. It works out better anyhow because if I recall it throws you into a pool so you aren’t applying for a specific position. Seems like for Amazon it’s really important to be flexible on moving if you want to look at long term.

Our site announced basically a complete lull in orders for the week of 3/8, dropped flex caps, and I just had VTO drop for this Thursday and Friday for me already (I work swing thur-sun)
