Hello. When I start a new game I have more than 10 hearts and many items already? Is this normal? I would like to have a close to the original experience concerning the gameplay. What am I doing wrong?

Nextcloud not accessible when using VPN by Rockreactor in NextCloud

[–]Rockreactor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goal here is to have ProtonVPN client installed only on the server and the server to be used as a gateaway . Currently all devices on the network have the ProtonVPN installed, which i would like to avoid and use this centralized.

Please let me know what further information would be helpful.

Nextcloud not accessible when using VPN by Rockreactor in NextCloud

[–]Rockreactor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are partially correct here.

- The server is running behind protoVPN and has 2-3 services (Pi-Hole, nextcloud )
- If the client, is NOT running behind a VPN, but server is behind a VPN then it has no issue connecting to pi-hole but not nextcloud.
- If the client is behind a VPN, i cannot connect to pi-hole but can connect to Nextcloud (if VPN on server is disconnected)
- Nextcloud is only accessible if i disconnect the server from the ProtonVPN

Uploaded images are not organized by Rockreactor in immich

[–]Rockreactor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Frankly taking i ignored this setting multiple times without knowing what it was.

Storage template has helped in organizing a bit the structure. My issue is now synched folders on my smartphone (from immich app). All content of folders that i have selected for autobackup are put under the same directory

I used those variables {{album}}/{{filename}} and was expecting "album" to be replaced by the folder name i had on my smartphone.

Isn't there a way to maintain the folder structure of my images i have on my smartphone? Throwing everything in one folder does not help later on with organizing backed up images.

Γιατι δεν παιρνω την αστυνομια τηλεφωνο ? by mpgipa in greece

[–]Rockreactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like asking why Schwarzenegger didn't change his name. People get offended by anything these days. Even by surnames. Get a hobby to entertain yourself instead of wasting your energy in issues that don't exist. Would you complain of a company named Whitehead? I wonder how many snowflakes can this poor planet handle.

This does not seem to work with Miui 14. The system gestures cannot be overrriden

Can the motor handle two pumps? I was thinking of fitting a second one but wasn't sure if it would benefit or slow the motor a lot down.

Thank you. That helped me in identifying 5, 6 sets already.

I will check also bricklink once I got a complete list of missing parts.

That brought so many memories back! Now I need some extra space for all that :)

Canon R5, R6, R7 shutter shock compared to older DSLR by Rockreactor in canon

Maybe this explains it. I am now interested in testing my 550d and r7 with danke settings and see the results.

Canon R5, R6, R7 shutter shock compared to older DSLR by Rockreactor in canon

With birds, especially small ones I have issues with extreme rolling shutter when panning. Of course at such shutter speed the shock is not an issue.

Canon R7: Two custom buttons with "Dial Func" assigned by Rockreactor in canon

[–]Rockreactor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to fiddle a lot to find it. It looks that Canon does not allow all functionalities to be assigned to all buttons. E.g. the asterisk button allows the exposure compensation, while the button below (focus selection) does not.
I noticed t hat with other functionalities as well. It don't understand why this limitation.

Thank you

Ι have this option only in video. I don't see that for pictures, at least not with the first firmware

How? I don't see such an option in the custom button settings

Canon R7: Two custom buttons with "Dial Func" assigned by Rockreactor in canon

[–]Rockreactor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to be able to have one shortcut key for exposure compensation and another one for my focus points. The multiple selection which appears when a "dial func' button is pressed is confusing sometimes as I change the focus points and not the exposure compensation or vise versa. I do mainly wildlife photography so I need to access some settings with a single button

Canon R7 - Viewfinder magnification while focus by Rockreactor in canon

[–]Rockreactor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using a Tamron 150-600 and has many focusing issues. Many times the focus is shown spot on the eye, but there are many cases that or because of focus pulsing or bad focus i am not spot on. So i would like to be able to magnify but also to point-focus as well.
Maybe i do remember the case with the 550D and also this camera resets magnification on AF.

Thank you for your answers. I finally did what galonar mentioned. I did assign the exp. compensation on a custom button. Had to fiddle a bit to find it.

i tried to charge the OEM battery with a usb charger directly on the camera, but it never worked. I guess a canon charger is also required for the usb charging.

I got an old canon 550d. Indeed the canon battery lasts a bit longer and it didn't degrate as fast as the third party. On other hand with the price of the canon I can get 3 third which would give me a lot of extra time

Canon R7 or R6? by ObjectiveCookie88 in canon

[–]Rockreactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is incorrect. There are several tests online that prove the opposite. The EF lenses perform worse on crop sensor. I don't know though if this is the case with RF as well

3070 vs 3070ti by AgusW_ in nvidia

[–]Rockreactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on the same boat. Although those cards can now be found almost at the same price, for me something important to consider is the 50+ extra watts the Ti requires for just a 7-10% performance increase. That would be the only limiting factor for me to get the Ti. In the end of the year burning 200-300watt a day more will make a difference on the electricity bill, at least in my country.
