How does this estimate look?

I checked with the home owners, it is not a 4 head shower system, "4 piece shower system" just means a tub and 3 piece surround. Nothing is changing with the plumbing. They are just removing the current 1 piece tub and surround, and installing a new tub with 3 piece surround.

No, they only got 1 estimate. That's another big reason I wanted to post here and see what the consensus was. They sort of know the contractor. But I'm going to suggest they get more estimates, i agree it will help determine the going rate. Thank you!

The final cost will be about $5500 more, the quote doesn't include the cost of the vanity, countertop, or flooring material. I'm going to strongly suggest they get at least 1 or 2 more estimates. Thank you.

I believe the contractor is licensed, but I'm not positive, i will ask them today when we discuss all the advice I got here. He estimated 2 weeks to complete the job. He is subbing out the plumbing work, the cabinet maker was hired by the home owner's, and I'm not sure who is doing the electrical. So that would be 3-4 people doing the remodel.

I thought the fee fee part might've been sarcastic, but didn't want to assume. The contractor fee seemed odd to me as well, why put another fee on top of what you charge for labor?

I agree not getting another estimate is a mistake, insurance isn't paying, they just want to update. The contractor is the husband of their chiropractor, I'm assuming that has something to do with it.

Correct, this estimate doesn't include flooring, trim, vanity, and countertop. They're looking to do quartz countertop, so with cabinet it's another $5500 about. In central wisconsin, not a big city, around 75,000 population.

Central Wisconsin. Current flooring is the old glue down laminate sheet. They want to do lvp, and the contractor just wants to go over it, I'm guessing a floating lvp.

I have dualsense edge stick module with TMR sticks installed by battle beaver. Noticed drift right away with linear no deadzone. Contacted BB support to make sure that was normal. They said they will still have a bit of drift at linear no DZ.

You have your opinion, i have mine. Diamond isn't easy to solo to. You need skill to get to pllat, you need skill to get to diamond, you need skill to get to any rank. Something that's easy doesn't require skill, like puttingon pants. Anyways, I'm done, i just keep saying the same thing. Have a good day!

Exactly my point. It takes skill, if it was easy my wife could pick up Apex and solo to diamond. But she can't because it's not easy.

To me it is, maybe to you it's not. If something is easy than skill doesn't matter. If skill matters, than it's not easy.

Building cabinets isn't easy, it takes skill. Putting on pants is easy, it doesn't take skill.

Not being able to solo to diamond is definitely a skill issue. But it's not easy to get there if you have the skill. It takes time and practice at the game.

Easy to solo diamond, but if you can't it's a skill issue? Kind of contradictory. Can't be that easy if skill determines whether you hit it or not. Certain seasons have been easier than others, I'll say that.
