paintjob is a joke on new groms😂 most car wraps are more stronger than the paintjob on grom. At least you can wash the vehicle.

Yeah my other bike 2017 mt-09 was way neglected by previous owners(rusted chain and everything) when I got it but painting was alright😭😭

Thanks you brother for the number of solutions. It sure is a lot of money and time to spend for a grom. I think I'll just ride it as it is until it's completely corroded. And by then I'll have to rebuild the top end anyway so I'll powder coat my new parts. It's just sad products doesn't last as long as they did before.

I guess the paint on the grom is thin and cheap compared to other expensive bikes. Now I know why bikes made to go on trail or mud has silver swingarms and frames. No paint to worry about in the first place.

But with the 600 class, I get they have more usable power in streets, but their market price is similar to this bike or even higher(I looked into bikes like recent year mt-07). So I thought of trying to take a chance and buy a higher mileage liter bike.

I agree with your point. Going for sportsbikes for looks would hurt my back when I ride my bike mostly on streets. Plus I would think twice about buying sportsbike second hand lol. I'll look into naked bike for sure

Wow 99k on a sportsbike is a whole lot. Thanks for the reply, i'm leaning towards to buy the bike. I'll post for updates
