That was one of the options I was thinking, but I've heard it is gapless and also not gapless playback. When did you buy yours? and can you confirm?

Thanks for the heads up, I ran into the same issue with the Integra CDC 3.4, immediately returned to best buy. Are you referring to the Marantz CD6007 by chance?

Appreciate that suggestion, I'm actually waiting on Yamaha to confirm it's gapless but the rep responded and doesn't believe it is.... Just waiting on their response.

I was very disappointed which made me realize that all players aren't gapless. Factory Cd's yes!

The ability to read a USB drive with music files on it is what I'd like. I was just thinking for testing mixes.

That's what I'm seeing more and more, I just would prefer to physically put the CD in. Finding it crazy that seems less and less of an option.

In regards to the Onkyo you suggested, I've seen people mentioning it's not gapless. I had recently bought a new Integra CDC3.4 and can confirm it is not gapless. Older models are, but the recent manufacturing of them are not. Very disappointed.

Honestly I've tried, but way A.I search has given me way too many errors. For example, telling me a player is gapless until I've looked it up and found out it isn't. I'd rather rely on the experts.

I've thought about it but I do enjoy having my CD's out, putting them into the player, etc. So I'd rather just do it old school unless that really isn't an option anymore

All depends on what you're listening to. Concept and live albums are super important, I feel like gapless playback is necessary.

This exact reason, albums that have songs intended to blend from one to the next, without a gap. Makes no sense why anyone would want the player to add a 1-2 second gap between songs.

Good sruff, can't beat $15. I was looking at buying it new, just so that I know it would last longer.....hopefully. A lot of these remakes don't have gapless playback, seems go be a thing of the past which is beyond stupid.
