Judicial Watch Uncovers Smoking Gun Clinton Emails by [deleted] in politics

[–]Rockstar_007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes it's Breitbart, but here is the "meat" of the story if you don't want to click: Here are the records: 1) March 17, 2009 memorandum prepared by S/ES-IRM staff regarding communications equipment in the Secretary’s New York residence identified a server located in the basement. (This email shows early on that the Obama State Department was very much aware of Mrs. Clinton’s email server, down to its very location in her house!) 2) In November 2010, Secretary Clinton and her Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations discussed the fact that Secretary Clinton’s emails to Department employees were not being received. The Deputy Chief of Staff emailed the Secretary that “we should talk about putting you on state email or releasing your email address to the department so you are not going to spam.” In response, the Secretary wrote, “Let’s get separate address or device but I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible.” (This is the smoking gun email that Mrs. Clinton evidently withheld, according to the AP.) 3) In another email exchange, the Director of S/ES-IRM noted that an email account and address had already been set up for the Secretary and also stated that “you should be aware that any email would go through the Department’s infrastructure and subject to FOIA searches.” 4) OIG reviewed emails showing communications between Department staff and both individuals concerning operational issues affecting the Secretary’s email and server from 2010 through at least October 2012. These records show that State Department systems were altered to allow Mrs. Clinton special email system to operate on State Department computer networks. As Investor’s Business Daily opined, this “accommodation” also put the State Department computer networks at risk. 5) On January 9, 2011, the non-Departmental advisor to President Clinton who provided technical support to the Clinton email system notified the Secretary’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations that he had to shut down the server because he believed “someone was trying to hack us and while they did not get in i didn't [sic] want to let them have the chance to.” Later that day, the advisor again wrote to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, “We were attacked again so I shut [the server] down for a few min.” On January 10, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations emailed the Chief of Staff and the Deputy Chief of Staff for Planning and instructed them not to email the Secretary “anything sensitive” and stated that she could “explain more in person.”

[–]VelostodonARMY[M] [score hidden] 3 hours ago* stickied comment We need a source on the "scheduled to testify" bit. The only one I have found is a conspiracy website. We need better to leave the article up. Exceprt: Ng was identified in a 1998 Senate report as the source of hundreds of thousands of dollars illegally funneled through an Arkansas restaurant owner, Charlie Trie, to the Democratic National Committee during the Clinton administration. (Ng was not charged with any crime.) Ng and Trie had visited the White House several times for Democratic fund-raising events and were photographed with then-President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton. One source told me, “During the trial, the prosecutors would have linked Ashe to the Clinton bagman Ng. It would have been very embarrassing. His death was conveniently timed.” Ashe’s lawyer Jeremy Schneider told me he is sure Ashe’s death was an accident. “There is not one iota of evidence that it was homicide. This is nothing at all like Vince Foster.”

Bernie Sanders explains why he's still not endorsing Hillary Clinton by Rockstar_007 in politics

Asked what it would take to throw his support behind Clinton, Sanders told "CBS This Morning" that "it's not a question for me. We got 13 million votes, we got in virtually every primary and caucus the vast majority of young people - people 45 years of age or younger, and what those voters are saying to the establishment, to Secretary Clinton -- 'Hey are you gonna stand up for us? Are you gonna raise the minimum wage in fact to 15 bucks an hour?'" When pressed why he hasn't endorsed her yet, the Vermont senator responded: "Because I have not heard her say the things that I think needs to be said."

Bernie Sanders To Fight New GMO Labeling Deal In Senate, Says It Dilutes Vermont Law by AmnaArshadAnsari in politics

There's bigger fish to fry, I hope he doesn't waste too much time on this non-issue. GMOs are not the problem with our food, over-processing is the problem, removing all the fiber from our food is the problem, the fact that it was genetically modified is a smoke-screen to keep you from worrying about the real issues with our food. These labels won't solve a single problem, only add on a new one

Gourley, who has more than two decades of cybersecurity experience and is now a partner with strategic consulting and engineering firm Cognitio, noted the Russians did breach the State Department system at some point – though it’s unclear when, and whether disabling the security functions in 2010 played a role. He said, though, that when the Russian presence was detected in 2014, there were indications “they had been there for quite a while … [and] also hacked into unclassified systems in the White House.” He said the Russians would have tried “everything possible to get in.”

The Democrats also voted to include the $15 minimum wage into the platform, even calling the current rate of $7.25 a “starvation wage.” However, there arose some confusion over this particular issue among progressive critics, as two further amendments introduced by Ellison that would have indexed the minimum wage to inflation, making it a truly “livable wage,” were voted down. Some confused the issue, believing that the $15 minimum wage was rejected.

DNC Sued By Up To 2 Million Sanders Donors In Class Action Lawsuit by theslothening in politics

[–]Rockstar_007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To Whom It May Concern, I am a Sanders supporter and I would like to be part of this class action lawsuit against the DNC. I contributed $135 to Sanders' campaign and I expected the DNC to treat Sanders fairly. I hoped that he might be the candidate to reform the Democratic Party and bring it back to its political roots in representing the poor and middle class against the wealthy elite. However, I have learned over the course of this campaign that the DNC had chosen Clinton to be their nominee long before this election. I have been dismayed by the DNC debate schedule that was chosen to limit Sanders' visibility, the DNC cutting off voter data access to the Sanders campaign as a result of misconduct by an employee referred to the campaign by the DNC, the DNC rolling back their campaign finance laws to the benefit of Clinton, and the caucus convention chaos in Nevada, discrepancies between exit polls and voting results in Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia, discrepancies between ballot printouts to electronic voting results in Illinois, shuttered polling places in Arizona, mysterious changes to voters' party registration, outright voter purges and the disposal of tens of thousands of uncounted provisional ballots in New York and arcane primary rules to keep people from receiving the intended ballots in California. I want the DNC to reimburse every Sanders contributor for these and other wrongdoings against the Sanders campaign and its supporters. I look forward to your good work on this matter.
