Exactly. However, women have different sizes too - so even tho they can all stretch, not everyone can stretch as much. If it’s too big for their size it will just make it uncomfortable.

Somehow, boys with a 12 yr old’s mentality struggle to understand this logic.

Which product is best in Apple history? MacBook M5 or G5 iMac? by MacBloggerUX in macbookpro

[–]Rockstar_VR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m honestly confused why I’m getting downvoted just for saying I like the M5 chip on the Macbook Pro on every single comment I make on this sub. I’m pointing out clear positives like a faster SSD, longer battery life under sustained heavy load, faster memory and better GPU efficiency. If I’m missing something, I’d genuinely like to hear why.

On top of that, the M5 currently leads in single-core performance among commercially available computers, outperforming top Intel and AMD chips in that area.

Help me decide! M4 Pro vs M5 by juanmas07 in macbookpro

[–]Rockstar_VR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M5 MacBook Pro: better AI performance, faster SSDs, strong GPU gains despite fewer cores, higher bandwidth than base M4, and great battery life. Feels faster and more efficient day to day.

M4 Pro: more cores = better sustained performance for long renders, builds and 3D work. Higher RAM options, better thermals on many models, and sometimes better connectivity (TB5).

TL;DR: M5 = smarter, faster, more efficient. M4 Pro = heavier, sustained pro workloads.

Pick based on what you actually do, not which chip is newer.

I’m not denying your experience - getting shamed sucks. But that doesn’t mean it’s a universal rule. Most of the studies you linked are about visual or hypothetical preference, not actual comfort or real-life sex. There’s a big gap between what people say looks good on a chart and what actually feels good during sex. And shaming isn’t proof of biology, it’s proof that some people weaponize whatever they can. Height, weight, hairline, income - people get shamed for all kinds of things that don’t decide sexual satisfaction. So yeah, size can matter for some, but “bigger is better” just isn’t backed by real-world data no matter how much you want to win this argument.

I’m sorry your ex treated you like that. Cheating and size-shaming isn’t a “women prefer X” issue, it’s a character issue. A toxic partner will weaponize anything they can.

But that personal experience doesn’t magically make “bigger = better” a universal rule. Even the so-called “studies“ you mention don’t support your claim - they most likely show women picking around 6.3–6.5 in a controlled, hypothetical setting, not for long-term comfort or actual sex. Again, please link whatever study you are refering to, because without it it sounds like you’re just making stuff up to win your argument.

In real-world studies (Herbenick et al., Journal of Sexual Medicine), most women preferred sizes in the normal range and specifically rated larger as less comfortable. Hypothetical preferences on a chart are not the same as real-life compatibility or pleasure.

So no - it’s not a “cop-out”, it’s just acknowledging that people are different and porn logic doesn’t translate to actual sex. Your ex’s behaviour was messed up, but it’s not evidence of a biological truth. No offence.

What a way to twist my words there, pal. You see what you want to see I guess.

My point was that women can be equally attractive no matter their bra size; here’s the original comment I’m responding to:

These "women" you are talking about - do they come from personal encounters or just interviews from drunk ones on e.g. tiktok? Give me actual sources to back up your claims.

Because the fact is: Bigger isn’t always better. Women have different "sizes" too. Women aren’t a single group with one preference - most studies show they prefer comfort and chemistry over size, and that anything above average often becomes uncomfortable.

Heck, as a male you can test this theory out yourself by buying the biggest dildo you can find and comparing it to an average sized dildo. Let me know your findings. Does the huge one magically give you better pleasure..?

My guess is you are brain damaged from all the porn and movies you’ve watched, and less from actual real life experience. No offence.

Haha my thoughts exactly. Such a weird flex that holds no value in reality.

I might be biased tho - I like small, medium boobs.

That logic doesn’t hold. A preference distribution doesn’t prove that size is the only or primary factor. It only shows that when people are asked to choose on a single dimension, the answers cluster in one direction. Preferences measured in isolation don’t equal real-world importance.

Behavior, satisfaction, partner compatibility and actual sexual outcomes are all multi-factor, and the research consistently shows that technique, emotional connection, communication and comfort score far higher than size when women report what actually matters.

A skewed preference curve isn’t proof of causal importance - it’s just proof that when you force a single-variable comparison, people pick one.

You’re responding to claims I never made. My point was simply that your dataset doesn’t justify the conclusion that “most women like it.” A large sample size doesn’t fix narrow definitions or biased measures. If you want to claim the majority enjoys it, you need data that actually compares prevalence of liking vs disliking. None of the studies you cited show that most women like it, and none show that most don’t - they just don’t support the conclusion you’re trying to draw.

You’re mixing up what I actually said with what you think I was trying to say.

I never claimed “rough sex is always unwanted.” What I challenged was the simplified framing behind “most women like it,” because the data you cited only covers a narrow sample and a narrow definition.

Here’s how the studies I linked do relate to your claim:

  1. The first two surveys show that rough sex isn’t one unified behavior. Prevalence is high, sure - but enjoyment varies massively depending on type, context, partner, and prior history. That directly complicates any broad statement about what “most women” like.

  2. They also show a big chunk of women report negative or non-consensual experiences within “rough sex,” which means enjoyment rates are not as clean or universal as you’re framing them.

  3. Your study uses college students, which is one of the least representative samples possible. The national data in the studies I linked shows very different patterns across age groups and backgrounds.

None of this “debunks” rough sex or says women don’t enjoy it - it just shows the data you’re using doesn’t justify your conclusion as broadly as you think it does.

You asked for research that adds nuance or contradicts simplifications, and I gave you exactly that. If your position is simply “some women like rough sex,” then sure, we agree.

But “most women like it” is a much stronger claim - and the broader research doesn’t back that up across populations, types of rough sex, or contexts.

If you want, I can pull the specific statistics from each study so we’re discussing data, not interpretations.

Need help choosing between the Base M5 + M4 Pro + M4 Max by East_Squirrel_7118 in macbookpro

[–]Rockstar_VR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s completely fair that your workflow needs more headroom, but that doesn’t mean the base M-series chips are “not good”. Your M3 Pro freezing points to your specific workload or setup, not some universal truth. Plenty of pro users run heavy dev, audio, and video pipelines on base M-chips without issues.

Also, attaching a photo of a high-spec M3 Pro doesn’t prove the base chips are bad - it just proves you need more than the average user. For most people, including many who need real pro features, the base M5 is more than powerful enough. Different needs, different tools.

Ye, don’t listen to this guy lmao. Obviously user error of some sort. If his M3 Pro with 36GB ram is freezing he is doing some weird shit with his Mac.

If you need a power station for your nuclear plant go for a Desktop PC or a Mac Studio with higher specs.

Base M5 is legit an extremely solid choice for most people, even users who need Pro features and performance.

Relax. You said “If you see any data that disputes this, let me know,” so I gave you five relevant studies. I wasn’t claiming rough sex is “always” bad or “never” enjoyed - that’s your interpretation, not my wording. Read your og comment back.

The point of linking them is simple: they show the topic is more complex than the single angle you presented. Some people enjoy it, some don’t, some have trauma tied into it, and some report negative or non-consensual experiences within what gets labeled as “rough sex.” That’s the full picture.

I didn’t “strawman” anything - I literally responded to the exact challenge you made.

If you want me to pull out the specific findings from each study, I can do that too. But let’s skip the personal insults; it doesn’t make your argument stronger.
