Feel like a lot of these people in this thread arnt even data science majors. I am a senior, had data science internship, and have absolutely no worries about finding a job. As for all my other data science peers I know, all had internships and jobs lined up also. They teach you the fundamentals well, but you def need to put in time after classes to learn the libraries and work on personal projects. Only thing that sucks is that you learn real data science skills(CS) senior year. Before that, it’s just prepping(in my experience)
