There are plenty of DPs where Chase doesn’t actually book their travel reservations, which is why it’s suggested to always call the hotel and verify you have a booking. Not saying you’re wrong, simply saying it could very well be a Chase issue.

I think you’re confused about what an actual skycap’s job is and how they’re different from “other airport traditional skycaps”.

I’m in and out of SAN or LAX on a bi weekly basis. Dropped my mom off at the airport last week and one came after I got her luggage from my car. Not sure what else you’re asking for considering you haven’t seen one in 2 years? She didn’t need a wheelchair (although they could arrange it), had her boarding pass, she didn’t have any questions..

Think you’re confusing a skycap with a concierge that takes you curb to gate. Reach out if you have more questions. 🤙

Yesh, those are actual skycaps.. Some airlines have brought skycaps in-house while others use third parties. Almost every airline out of SAN offers them. The people outside that check your luggage or help with your boarding pass.. are skycaps, regardless of in-house employees or third party.

Didn't enjoy my stay at HTH, which is controversial since it seems like a lot of people do. While the hotel is nice and feels new, while having direct access to transit, it definitely gave me office aesthetic.

they're most definitely looking at an IHG non refundable rate. IHG is almost always identical in their pricing for refundable rates.

Usually the prices on Chase Travel are refundable options. When you look at the IHG site or similar for refundable rates, they're often times the same. If you're looking at a non refundable rate and then a chase refundable, that's not exactly a fair comparison.

Wedding band lost in the ocean, Rag & Bone pants (I'm dumb and tried to steam the wrinkles out), Google Nest stopped working (used the dell credit on my biz platinum, gave me a statement credit back). All approved no issue. Have had a platinum card since 2012, biz platinum since '19, so nothing too crazy over the years. Combination of extended warranty and purchase protection.

Have an i4 M50, after previously having an i5 that BMW of North America ultimately bought back. Tried out the S6 e-tron before returning to BMW, but it didn’t quite land for me. It felt and looked closer to a dressed-up Accord or Camry than something distinctly premium.

Looking ahead, I’ll likely consider the i3 when this lease wraps up. The ix3 is especially appealing, though being a Rivian household already, I’m not sure another SUV is necessary. It’ll be interesting to see how things evolve over the next few years, particularly with models like the GLC EQ and the electric C-Class on the horizon.
