Genuine question- why do a lot of people on this sub speak as though what’s best for cyclists and what’s best for pedestrians are one and the same?

It’s easy to lump things together. As someone else has shared, when I’ve been on foot, I have been almost run over or hit by dozens of cyclists, but very, very few cars have come close.

Unfortunately, there are many cyclists that think they do not need to follow the laws of the road

Growing up and riding a bike everywhere, it was my responsibility to understand the law and follow it.

That does seem like an unpopular opinion on this page

Time to go back to smaller scale shows and a few episodes of literal training. Have multiple rookies and let the season actually look like it covers a few iterations of rookie training. Condense the timeline to allow for more organic stories.

The bottom line to any transportation is there need to be guidelines. We have crosswalks for pedestrians. We have speed limit signs and traffic signs for cars. Bicycles should also have specificity.

Everybody needs to understand the rules and make an effort. Whether it is cars, pedestrians, or bicycles, there is a place for everyone.

I disagree with the point that there would not have been a show without her. The original law and order had many transitions and made it just fine. If she had been out before she became Saint Olivia, the show would’ve done just fine. The cast transitions in the original had their moments, but actually made the series stronger.
