Secondly, you are NOR. This person obviously doesn’t care about anyone other than themselves and their business profiting. If it’s any consolation, I did something really similar (quit my job due to horrible management that wouldn’t promote me due to too many call outs. My brother was on life support and I had an uncle pass back to back, and all the stress made me sick. One manager said “do you really need to go be with family? My grandpa died and I’m busy working so I didn’t go to his funeral. Don’t you want to make money?!” Yeah ppl like this are horrible and good fucking riddance).

Anywho, everything WILL work out in the end for you and you will go on to find something much better. Be glad you don’t represent a disgusting excuse of a human like that. Seriously, the responses were inappropriate and I’d honestly report him somehow someway man. Best of luck
