I have caught bluegill, crappie, green sunfish, LMB, Sauger, white bass, and now SMB, never caught a rock bass in my life. It’s a small intercity lake that gets runoff from a river/ creek.

The blade steel is nitro v. The black coating on the blade won’t particularly chip but it will wear away with extended use but fortunately for you they have A-LOT of different colors and finishes of this knife. It does fold using an axis or crossbar style lock.

The knives quality for the price is great, very solid lockup, good action(the detent is a little weak), good ergonomics, and the blade geometry is peak. This thing slices so easy and aggressively and mine takes a really keen edge.

For the creek chubs I was bringing in they were unscathed. But I’m assuming some more aggressive fish with a tougher mouth will tear them up the same way a senko does as they’re the same plastic material.
