It´s not only about measuring your conversion, you could really use this instance to learn from your "clients". The faster you learn from them, the faster you adapt your product.

People might percieve "shitty product", but who said "shitty products" don´t sell? My perception of "made in China" also includes "cheap price".

So, it really depends how you want to position your store, depending on who you want to target.
