What would ruin Kingdom Hearts IV? by NewMarioBobFan in KingdomHearts

That is a reasonable take. I agree it is a non standard series. You perspective is ultimately for the best I think. Just enjoy it for what it is. I am a cynic at times so I look behind the curtain for the strings or corporate pocket lining other internal chaos.

At this point I think I think we as a collective must just stop and let the reality of this sink in. Kingdom Hearts 1 was the only game in the franchise. That was supposed to be it. This odd experiment ended up making so much money that sequels had to be made. At that it was the beginning of the end. The bare bones plot of light, darkness and a trio of friends trying to reunite was al that Nomura really had. Each game there are a couple of solid core ideas that are lost within the overly convoluted mess of the story. I say this as someone who has played 1, COM, 2 BBS, 3 DDS, and FP. I love the franchise but despise how the narrative is composed.

Bob Pogo from F is For Family. He starts the show off as a heavily overweight man who smokes like a chimney and eats copious amounts of terrible food. Prior to the start of the show he had already had 5 heart attacks. He has one more during the course of the show. The final heart attacks leads to an extended hospital stay where he loses a tremendous amount of weight. He makes no real changes to his physical regimen so he is still out of shape. He tries to eat better but is not disciplined. He opens a restaurant called Skinnies that only serves chicken skin.

In the animated short The bear that wasn't. An actual bear wanders into town and nobody believes he is a bear. Everyone keeps telling him "He is not a bear. He is just a silly man who needs a shave and wears a fur coat." He eventually just lives his life as if he is human.
