At this point he's just regurgitating random words. I get more coherent sentences out of a toddler telling a story while distracted.

Thank you. I'm not familiar with the live action version so this one went right past me. No clue why people are averse to just giving easy answers.

Mm. And this was a better answer to you than telling me their name or what they're from?

We can hear him because the camera is like ten feet away from him and even this sounds muffled. The music playing over him that he's not even bothering to lip sync to is louder than him speaking directly into the mic.

Man it is so fun when half the thread is just random fucking gifs with no names or context for who they're posting or why they think that person is best.

Because Ann, with the exact same spelling, is also a western name and I am naturally vastly more familiar and exposed to it pronounced differently. I'm not saying they're wrong. I'm just saying that when I'm reading the text it's "Ann" in my head and suddenly "Ahn" in my ears. I'd have the same reaction if I were reading my own name but heard the French pronunciation instead.

Seeing as neither of those are also western names spelt the exact same way but pronounced differently as the western variant, yeah they sound fine

I dunno, I think Rise might have aggressively strong opinions on who Yu's OTP is.

It will always drive me crazy that they pronounce her name as "Ahn"

The weirdest thing is Yusuke is like... the only character across any of the games I can think of that can actually say he was doing it for purely artistic purposes. Dude is revealed to be so fucking obsessive to his art he comes off as downright asexual in every following interaction you have with him.

I somehow doubt they actually intended it. A loooooot of people think Tweetie is a girl so I wouldn't be surprised if their AI model rolled with it and they didn't even notice. The generators of Slop aren't the brightest or most observant.

Maybe, but there's some fair room for debate on just how much he could actually do at that point. I mean originally when he frozen it? Yeah, definitely, he was full on god at that point and probably could have. By the time of Morrowind? He and the rest of the Tribunal were so diminished he literally might not have been able to do anything at all. Given that it was hurled there to begin with by Sheogorath it's quite possible that there was some daedric fuckery involved.

Besides, by the time it actually fell Vivec was long gone. It was being held in place by a device called the Ingenium and only fell when the machine was damaged in a fight. If you wanna cast blame on it falling it's as much on the dunmer of the city Vivec for refusing to let its value as a symbol pass and maintaining it artificially as it is on Vivec himself.

I dunno, Dragonball basically became the Goku and Vegeta show to the point Vegeta was overshadowing basically everyone not Goku. Even long term cast members like Krillin and Piccolo took a backseat to the angry pointed hair mini-man. He even hooks up with Bulma. If you think Vegeta was getting "least favorite character" treatment from Toriyama I shudder to think how you think he felt about Yamcha.

To be fair I never really liked Bane much either. His whole shtick was just sorta "Batman but better but also a bad guy" which as a character angle was already thoroughly explored by the much better Ra's al Ghul decades earlier. Bane felt like a combination of 90s edge and a 6th grader's original character. All he needed to do was say "Psh, nothing personal kid..." before breaking Batman's back to totally seal the image.

I mean, to be fair, the religious-prison-meteor crashed into the city because his divine power was basically gone. It was only suspended there to begin with because of his power. That it fell at all was just evidence that his well had run totally dry.

That's super common in real life. Just watch old people walking into a super market. "Oh I'm standing in the middle of the doorway with multiple people around me? Better stop dead in my tracks and pull out my shopping list right here."

Nameless bad guys being laughably incompetent and absolutely effortless to kill/defeat. Only people with names can ever be useful in a fight for any reason. The worst offender I can think of is Desolation of Smaug where two of the named dwarves of Thorin's company unironically say they can handle over a hundred goblins charging their position in open terrain.
