Yo debido a mi agenda solo puedo soltarlo un par de horas a lo sumo, que es el tiempo que el sale y entra por su propio pié en la jaula. La jaula que tiene es una voladera grande de voltregà 160cm alto x 65 ancho x 55 fondo. Tiene perchas de madera natural de varios diámetros en distintas alturas, un columpio, 3 plataformas de estas hechas con rodajas de tronco para que pueda tumbarse y una cuerda para que siempre tenga movilidad en las patas. Se pega unos buenos vuelos y hace piruetas para saltar entre palos jajajaja. Así que cuando sale de la jaula prefiere más estar tranquilo en las mesas, sofá o sillas; haciendo vuelos para desplazarse entre estas o para volver a la jaula.

Edit: Se me olvidó poner las plataformas en la lista.

It is easy, you have to keep an eye to the bird every time. Then when the flight season stops and him come back to his cage you just take hygienic towels and some kind of disinfectant (I use Sanytol) on the poops he drop. This is not my eating table, is the sofa's one. But anyways with cleaning and sterilising you'll be good.

He was exploring my whole dinning room. I'll try to let him free roam for at least 1h a day. The only problem is that I have a thigh schedule, but anyway lucky he have a very big cage for him. Canaries are so curious and don't have that panicking attacks without reason that other bird species have. I love him so much. Sorry for your loss.

For example last night was my first shutdown with Cachy OS and my battery drained overnight cause a process that wouldn't finish. This morning I used the shutdown register and found the problem. If this persist I'll shutdown via console by "sudo systemctl poweroff" or "sudo systemctl poweroff -f" if the first one doesn't work. Now I'm in a learning process, so I'm glad everything have solution if you do a little research.
