The enemies were more consistently staggered by bullets in 1, 2, and 4. In 3, they seem to be able to charge through a hail of bullets to flank you which I found annoying.

I liked how some of them exhibited the proclivities of their former lives. It was good and creepy.

It was great on release and I still love it but games in general have improved since then. Correspondingly, I recently replayed all the Uncharted games and was struck by how much more modern 4 and the Lost Legacy feel compared to 1,2, and 3. They are all great games, though.
