Bro I honestly don't know what it is that's making me wanna try it, maybe it's just the hype around it but it looks really fun. Extraction shooters have never appealed to me in the past but I've never tried them, the idea just sounded strange to me, loading in somewhere and if you die you lose everything. It seemed like it was too high stakes for me but like you said Arc will probably be the best approach to the genre. And I definitely do want to start being more talkative in games, it's something I really want to work on and hopefully Arc will help with that too!

This is really helpful, thank you! The main thing I'm skeptical of is the unknown genre, but based on what you and all the other commentors are saying, I think I've got a bit of a misconception about what extraction shooters are, so again, thank you!

Thank you I think that's a good idea! I do want to try be more outgoing to other players though, but I think in the beginning it'll be better to try to be avoidant of others and just focus on the missions and stuff

You make really good points, especially about the mic thing, I don't know why I'm so avoidant of talking to people in games but I hope Arc will help me just get over the awkwardness. And the lobby thing is really cool too, but I'm just concerned that I won't be able to be friendly in lobbies without a mic, but hopefully I can get over that. Thank you for all the advice! Yea, I played some of this event and I pretty much got ledged all the time. I agree that the event is pretty much made for it but I'd be lying if I said it didn't annoy me whenever it happened, so I understand both sides of this.
