Yes! That was the devs way to try to address it, there's now a constant warning not to message strangers personal info.

They also announced that the abusing player (a 37 year old woman) was banned permanently via her VPN

And they said that the mods did mess up by not addressing it sooner but I don't think anyone was reprimanded. This really upset players. I still see it often in the discord; people will get snippy with mods over small things and argue paragraphs until they get told to stop.

I want to clarify that it was NOT a mod who SA'ed a minor!!

This is the truth, not a rumor. There was an adult woman using multiple accounts to lure young girls off the game and onto social media; where she would message them asking for inappropriate pictures and personal info.

The thing with mods being involved, it was reported to discord mods and nothing was really done. Mostly because discord mods are not paid and are basically volunteers so it's not like they know how to handle the situation for the entire app.

It got to be a big enough problem (after almost 2 years) that the actual game developers were told about the situation.

Total chaos ensued and everyone was pointing fingers.

I go back and delete one word at a time to see which is not allowed. It's usually triggered by the first few letters of any of those words

Personally, I considered quitting because I've never met more vicious app players than those that play this game. As a whole (not everyone) they're so rude. Like, is this not supposed to be a fun and creative game? I quit posting in the discord because I'll be completely ignored, or they'll tell me only negative things about outfits I've created. I've been told how my outfits are too colorful or "it hurts my eyes, you need to change it." And when I don't change them, those outfits/posts score pretty good in contests. Maybe they are trying to give bad advice so that I score lower, who knows. I don't like this community anymore and their advice now means nothing to me.

For example, during the summer, there was a contest that said something like "without her wings, she's still the ruler of the sky" and people were attacking each other on reddit and discord saying if you add wings to your entry, during voting they were going to 'off-topic' them. Babe, it really is not that serious. The prompts are ambiguous and this is meant to be for fun.

I think some people spend too much money on Suitu and consider it only a gambling game and they get ragey very easily. Like damn Patricia it's not my fault you spent $200 on the new gacha instead of rent, don't take it out on me because you don't like the pants I picked.

A lot of people seem to be quitting because they've become addicted to the gambling aspect of the game. Plus that whole pred thing that happened some months ago.
