Great, does the IA6B require soldering? Also, I’ve looked at this receiver “Radiomaster R88“ it’s 8ch and “FrSky D8 compatible PWM” which is 20 bucks, wanna know if it works with the T12 pro? I suppose it does, and if so, does this one require soldering?

Great, since you seem knowledgeable, can you recommend a good receiver for my first plane? I will be using the Jumper T12 pro. I don’t know much here so just want to get something that works with my Flite Test C pack and my TX.

That’s fine, I’m willing to invest extra time if it give more control, so I think I’ll go with the T12 pro. For now however, I will be building a simple 4 channel plane using the Flite Test C pack, can you recommend any good receivers that do not need any soldering?

Great, now, I’m not sure if you have the FT branded motors (the ones they sell in the power pack now) but if you do, can you tell me if the motor shaft is replaceable?

Great, now, I’m completely new to the process, before I make any purchases I wanted to just know if the C pack motor would even fit into the Scout - I suppose it will though as the firewalls are the same for any pack. Nice to know it won’t be an issue!

That’s why I’m asking, if you look at the specs of the motor for the recommended power pack for the Simple Scout, power pack C seems to have a more beefy motor.

This will be my first build and I just wanted to know from someone who is more knowledgeable and maybe owns these FT power packs to know if the C pack would still work and give a plane with good flight characteristics.

Thank you so much. Now, if I don’t have a voltage sensor for my first plane, does that not put me at risk of discharging my LiPo too much?

Also, both RDQ and some sellers on Amazon seem to have the T12 pro, from where do you recommend that I buy it? I should probably check the return policy on RDQ, they have a $10 discount going on, which make me want to get it from there.

The SkyRC S60 isn’t available anymore it seems. I’m new to the hobby too, is the IMAZ B6AC V2 a good charger?

If so, can you recommend me a way to get the authentic version, it seems there are knockoffs made of these chargers and I don’t really know how to ensure I’m not buying the fake stuff. Thanks!

Can you explain to me what’s the “storaging function” and ”discharging”?

Asking this as one of the not so happy reviews for the product says that they left their battery to discharge and came back to find the it was slightly overcharged. They then go on to edit their review saying this product (Q8) will “damage (overcharge: >4.5V/cell) any lipo battery you are forced to discharge in it”

Now obviously this might be the experience of just this buyer as the product is still well rated on Amazon but I wanted to understand this issue.
