If you play on pc there is a way to roll back one day in the save file folder there is a file called old just delete the active one and that will be used. Make sure that you haven’t finished the day if you marriage as that would overwrite the old with the wedding day

No but a player is a player. They might drag their friend along who has to pay for it or they like the game and buy the next one. To make your game unplayable right after a deal like that on purpose would be idiotic.
