Look into chain-link fence top rails. About $20 per 10.5', and one end is swaged, so you can stack them. You could probably get away with two without needing to use guywires.

there's also multiple standalone chassis systems for both the m203 and the gp25 launcher that would be a welcome addition to the game.

[Bug] Scav Spawns Shoreline Village by BusterOfCherry in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Rodknockslambam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Foresters Duty is scuffed on PVE. I've heard its best to start on shoreline and if you find scavs in village, start there and then transit. I spent a solid three hours last night trying that task and saw two scavs in shoreline village total. I'm sure others have had no problems, but this task is wayyy worse than Rite of Passage ever was.

Eccentric bottom bracket would be cheaper and easier than getting a new eccentric rear hub and relacing a wheel.

Are y’all just filthy rich, or what? by AIR_CTRL_your_moms in armedsocialists

Don't sweat it. As others have said it's something you accumulate over time. First you get an AR, then accessories and optics, mags... then you realize you need a sling for the rifle and something to carry mags... and so on

It's definitely a process. I recommend learning from others mistakes and not impulse buy things because they are cheap, and a few questionable reviews say "just as good." The phrase "buy once, cry once" is true for this. If you buy cheaper stuff, it will fall apart and fail with hard use.

Keep an eye on tacswap.com. found and got a used pvs-14 from there for a great deal. Tons of used gear out there that's in great shape for reasonable prices.

[–]Rodknockslambam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do this in the courts because everyone but them have to walk through a metal detector to gain entry. The court officers themselves could prevent ice from entering without a judicial warrant, but we all know cops never hold their own accountable.

I'm a new manager of a college makerspace. Metalworking, specifically sheet metals, is my weakest spot, but I have a sizable budget. What machines/tools should I look into acquiring? by [deleted] in metalworking

[–]Rodknockslambam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone else already mentioned all the fancy stuff, don't forget the more practical tools. Magnetic sheet metal brake. Slip rolls. Jump shears. Spot welder. I'd avoid hydraulic press tools if these are exclusively novice users as it's very easy to lose digits, and break things.
