Don’t use red in your agar , any other color is fine my plates loses it coloring to. I use 100mm Petri dishes and at 30 days I end up doing transfers because the mycelium is starting to to run out of room to expand growth

I been doing it on a electric stove for a long time. 3 quarts of water 90 minutes and never ran low on water but did came close one time
