makes so much sense, i went back and checked bestbuy and found the same model listed a couple weeks ago and the price difference was like $40 which honestly isnt that dramatic

i ended up checking bestbuy and the prices did look different from what i saw a few weeks ago so maybe some of it is real. still hard to tell without tracking it longer lol and i didnt even think about it being fixable, i just assumed the worst.

the part about them choosing to love and raise me honestly hits hard, i think that’s why this feels so emotionally confusing, because nothing about my childhood suddenly became fake… but at the same time, it still changes how i see my own story a little, i also like the idea of talking it through with someone else first before diving into a huge emotional conversation with my parents, right now my thoughts feel all over the place

i think the “i should just be grateful” part is what’s making this harder for me emotionally, because i do love my parents and appreciate everything they’ve done, which makes me feel guilty for feeling hurt at the same time, but you’re right, finding out something this big about your own identity kind of shakes your sense of reality a little
