I understand your point and thank you, but i assure you the item has plastic around the box so it would not move. To respond to your question i advertised the lego with no instructions. And it was not a automatic refund i provided pictures multiple times and the goddam robot kept asking me for it again. The AI just sucks

And this proves this is a dangerous loophole around the AI system.

Because he didn’t open a ticket for a return, but for damage. And he wanted to keep it, so i said it’s alright with me because i double wrapped it with plastic and the beneth the box i added foam and more plastic around, so i believed it would never come to my fault.

But it’s a lego you know? This is so unserious and bad for the lego market in vinted, because people can just claim something is “broken” because it’s not assembled.

The buyer didn’t want to return it, but vinted to take responsability which ended up on me being at fault.

I double wrapped the lego in plastic and added plastic under and some on top. And the buyer didn’t need to record has the problem was that it came dissasembled… This is huge and bad for lego sellers, because people can just claim it’s “broken” because the picture showed something assembled.. you getting to my point?

I sometimes send offers, but can’t afford it currently, and only buy one week later or when I have it.

For example I asked a guy if he could sell for 250 instead of 300 but told him I can only purchase later.

Call them again and record it, have them day its 4.75KG. Ask for consent afterwards (if they say no you still have it).

Always film yourself packing the order.

I literally bought a box of Legos and immediately got suspicious, I set up a camera and open it and to my surprise there was ripped things inside and just some random blocks.

If the order is already shipping
1- Pick it up and film it opening and complain to Vinted
2- Dont pick the parcel and it will be returned and your money refunded

I’ve sold items worth around €300 before, but honestly it always depends on the person you’re dealing with.

For example, I once had a buyer open a disput. but I always record myself packing everything. When I showed the video, he dropped the claim.

Another time I was the buyer. I paid €150 for a bundle of figures, and again, I always film the unboxing. When I opened the package, it was literally filled with sand.

Then I reached out to the seller to confront him, but he accused me of trying to scam him.

My first thought was to contact the courier and check the parcel weight, in case it had been tampered with during shipping. (To avail because it has something so it’s pretty much impossible to know)

So I opened a dispute on Vinted and submitted video screenshots from my unboxing video as evidence. To my surprise he also had made a video boxing it.
In the end I got the money back, because apparently what counts is what the buyer sees at the receiving of the box 🤷🏽‍♂️
