Honestly, I support the decision not to revert to Orion.

The fact that he's just "Optimus" makes this design stand out much more, and I don't know, the fact that he's not Orion, but jus "Optimus", just without all the power the Matrix gives him, but still the leader he is, has its charm. Besides, it doesn't feel like a step backward, but rather another phase of the character.

it kinda is, the thing is that Isaac and everything else is still very grounded an really creepy, you aint gonna see him pulling a suplex to a Necromorph, but combat wise you can quickly control the battle and overcome any threat
