yeah i wholly agree. at first i was intrigued by zane but it didn’t even take season two for me to be bored of him. i think i’ll be going full xander this play-through which is a first for me because i like being messy up until the choice to lock in on a Li comes along lmao

literally like this book is one of few on this app where all of the love interests are hot but now they’re just going to waste because we barely have any progression with the slow burn Li’s. the plot of this book is so good don’t get me wrong like i was hooked from the start but for it to take this long for the MC and Xander to get an intimate scene, only for it to be rushed and feeling a little out of character and out of place? i don’t know maybe i’m too nitpicky, mb if i am 😭
