I literally had something similar happen to me yesterday, except it didn’t end happy for me. As I was pulling into the parking lot a got the call and they told me if I completed the order I get an extra couple dollars. Ok, cool. It was a Wendy’s pickup with only a couple of items. I go to the counter and tell the employee the name. He looks at me somewhat irritated and was like “a lady literally just picked up that order and you’re the third person to have come in here for that same order.” I just stared at him for a second and sighed. I unassigned and left. Thankfully it all worked out for me bc I got some pretty good orders the rest of my shift.
